A one-day workshop where Grade 8 and Grade 9 write our own anthem's words and turn them into real music β with AI as the sketchpad, not the artist. Music class carries it forward from here.
01 β Today
Suno turns a short written description into a full song in about a minute. Today it's a sketching tool β like a pencil sketch before a real painting.
GIFS has never had an anthem before. There's nothing to replace, nothing to compare it to β this is the first one.
Grade 9 has been thinking hardest about what this anthem should say. Today, together, we shape those words and hear them become music, in a few directions.
What leaves today isn't a finished anthem β it's a short list of directions for the teacher to keep shaping.

Some of us live on campus, far from home. "A home away from home" is an honest feeling to write about β not a forced one.
03 β The Method
Before we touch Suno, we write the words β live, with two AI writing tools side by side. Same method used at the κΉν΄ κ²½λ¨μμ μ°½μμ songwriting lecture, adapted for GIFS.
Who, and where are they standing?
One word.
One picture you could actually see β not an idea.
A promise, or a feeling that lingers.
03 β The Tool
Genre + mood. First words carry the most weight.

Suno isn't the only tool in this process. Each tool does one job well β none of them does all three.
04 β Being Honest
Suno hands us a finished-sounding recording β not notation a choir can read from. If we want this anthem written out for real performance one day, there's one more step after today.
